Nica's Coffee was born from a purely coffee-growing Nicaraguan family. For more than three generations, the best coffee in the region has been felt, lived and breathed. We are united by the great passion of valuing coffee as the most sacred because it is our reason for living. From sowing it with care, to developing it with pride and enjoying the unique experience it gives us, because we know that it takes the best of us.

 

The greatest inheritance we have is the love for coffee and the evolution it has had through the work of each generation in our family. We are the result of this legacy that has transcended over the years and is the manifestation of our way of life.

 

Nica’s Coffee is a brand developed by Castellón Coffee® in 2011, in effort to promote the high quality coffee tradition of Nicaragua. Through Nica’s Coffee we have included all the core values of Castellón Coffee® to make this coffee the greatest experience you may have, including the commitment, responsibility, hard work, proactive attitude and specially the Castellón Coffee® founders and team member's passion and unique way to make things happen.

WHAT WE DO

Nica's Coffee high quality, strictly high grown coffee is produced in a value chain that comes from the farm to your cup. We select only the best coffee producing zones in Nicaragua, harvested by experienced and capable people, providing us with a full-bodied coffee with the perfect acidity and sweetness.

 

Certified Organic and USDA, its packaging represents the Nicaraguan essential culture and coffee tradition; highlighting the breathtaking volcanoes and landscapes in the heart of Central America.

OUR FARMS

We have selected the best coffee production lands in Nicaragua for Nica's Coffee. These plants grow up to 1,400 meters above sea level, this height gives coffee its exclusive quality and well-balanced taste. Nica's Coffee grows under strict organic agricultural practices and our highly capable workers only pick the ripest beans during harvesting.

MILLING PROCESS

When harvesting finishes, coffee is transferred to the milling process for washing. The best coffee beans are carefully selected and go through a process of natural fermentation; after the beans are sun-dried and milled, the husk is removed and graded, choosing only uniform green coffee beans.

ROASTING AND PACKAGING

Nica's Coffee offers a variety of roosting levels to please all of our customers taste: Breakfast Blend, Medium Roast and Dark Roast. The three levels of roosting for Nica's Coffee beans are enhanced with essence of your favorite flavors: Dark Chocolate, Caramel Vanilla and Tropical Fusion.

 

The roasted and flavored beans are now ready to be packed in any of Nica's Coffee different presentations. We take pride in being the only brand in Central America that offers cups produced and packed in the same facility, ensuring our customers with high quality and completed process.

 

The packaging designed for Nica's Coffee includes artwork that represents Nicaragua's culture and beauty, as well as the hard work and passion that our workers put into producing the best coffee in the region.
